This weeks Cakes

Just a few Cake this week, two Birthday and one Wedding Cake.

Starting with the wedding cake a five tier Chocolate Curls Cake decorated 5-tier-Chocolate-Curls-,Lillies-and-roses-3with Chocolate Rose’s and Lilies in Ivory and Shades of Pink, made for Ingrid and Alan who had their big day a the Great Hall at Mains Singleton.If you would like to see a lot more about this wedding check out our New Wedding Blog and there is also some lovely stuff from our friends at

The two Birthday Cakes were very different a simple hearts and feather cake and a Penguin!! for one of Matthews friends

Little Bit of a Update

Been a bit busy for the last couple of weeks!! anyway here a few of our latest cakes -

Another of our Chocolate Cup cakes made for Paula’s and David’s wedding at the Spread Eagle in Sawley.


This cake was made for Lynn and John way Back at the Dunkenhalgh, but we have just received this lovely Picture of the rather large castle cake we made which was much better that ours!!


Also a classic Anniversary Cake


A Talisker Whisky Bottle and a rotating Pole Dancer Cake for our friends at special wedding cars.

Some smaller Celebration Cakes

Done quite a few smaller cakes over the last few weeks as it’s not wedding season. Starting off with a Couple of Engagement Cakes and a lovely 2 tier Christening Cake.



Followed by quite a assortment of birthday cake for both adults and children.

And I also started to develop a few Chocolate cakes I hope to sell as dinner party cakes, be nice to hear what people think!!

Salmesbury Hall wedding fair

Had another lovely day at Salmesbury Hall Wedding fair on the 6th March, Plenty of brides and their families came out in what was a lovely sunny day.


Plenty of other suppliers including Garlands Florist, Creative Cover hire, Tiaras by Michelle, Music by Union Street Country Dance to name a few plenty of interesting stuff and of course Salmesbury Hall looked as Stunning as ever
