Had another lovely day at Salmesbury Hall Wedding fair on the 6th March, Plenty of brides and their families came out in what was a lovely sunny day.
Plenty of other suppliers including Garlands Florist, Creative Cover hire, Tiaras by Michelle, Music by Union Street Country Dance to name a few plenty of interesting stuff and of course Salmesbury Hall looked as Stunning as ever

Lovely Day at the Spread Eagle in Sawley, seen some lovely brides and caught up with some of our favourite Suppliers.
Sarah Cox Had a lovely selection of Table wear, and Special wedding cars, cars looks just as stunning as even, Some lovely photos of display by CW Photography, Lulu Browns of Clitheroe supplied the amazing Bridal gowns. I will update with the rest of the suppliers shortly as they were a lovely bunch.

We will be attending 2 wedding fayres on the next 2 Sundays, First will be The Spread Eagle at Sawley on 27th February and the second is at Salmesbury Hall near Preston.
Both Really Lovely Venues and really with a visit if you are planning your Big day. Here are a few of the cake we will have on display, as well as having sample cakes to Eat and pictures of our large portfolio of cakes.

With wedding fair season fast approaching we have been busy getting our sample cakes ready, here are a few you can expect to see.
Remember we will have tasting cake too!!

5 cakes this weekend as expected being wedding season and all. The first ( Red roses and Lilies) was for Lynsay and Neil who had their wedding in the marquee at the Inn at Whitewell which as normal looked just lovely. The second ( 2 tier cake ) was at the Spread Eagle in Sawley for Julia and her husband who planned their wedding all the way from America! the venue looked brill and you can see us there on the 12th September 2010 for their wedding fair. The next cake ( 3 tier with gerberas ) was at The Higher Trapp for Catherine and Matt were we bumped into Sarah Cox from Venue Styling who was busy making the venue look gorgeous. Our final wedding cake was at Burnley League for Gemma and Martin (3 tier Lilies and teal Roses).
And if that wasn’t enough We also made a Birthday for one of our friends with a music theme!! It’s not two cakes just one cake for two people.

Steady away with customers at Burnley Football Clubs Wedding Fair Last Sunday, but think we got a few booking so that’s the important thing.

First up a Rice Paper covered 5 tier Cake highly lustered with Handmade Pink sugar Orchids just a little bit funky I think!!
Next up is a more Traditional Cake with a cushion Style side design with Handmade Asantia Lillie's with plenty of Cystals, Black Feathers and Diamante Chain to give it hopefully a more modern Finish.
Always like to have a simpler cake on display and hopefully this one with Handmade Daisy's on offset square polka dotted cake fit the bill and will appeal to some of our brides.
Another of our popular cake is heart individuals and we will have a sparkles rose version on show with gold highlights.
We also seem to be using a lot of clear stands at the moment and I must say I like them myself and this cake is clean with handmade Lillie's with perplex boards.
Staying with Clear Stands we will have our fountain on display and Mike from Design acrylics wad made us this lovely clear stand to use with the fountain, here we have made a funky hearts cake with matching individuals in boxes for something a little different.
And or course we need some Chocolate Wedding cakes and will have on display our two most popular design the first being a Chocolate Coco-foam Rose Ruffle Cake and the second being a individual Chocolate Cup Wedding Cake both always go down really well.
