Big June Update!!

Been a very busy month June with lots going on so haven’t really had the time to update the Blog!! But here are just some of the celebration Cakes we have made this month so far.

Starting with 2 bauble Style cakes the Purple one was for a 40th and the Pink for a christening, both were ordered by past brides :)

More birthday cakes, with a Pooh and Friends Cake, Sapphire Gin bottle and a favourite of little girls a doll cake.

Next a couple of Simple birthday Cakes with firework style toppers, and another popular cake a football shirt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And Finally a 2 tier Engagement Cake with Ivory sparkles Rose’s and gold Leaves.

Big update to Follow on our Wedding cakes Blog, with some lovely cakes, at lovely venues and also some pictures of our wedding friends all making everything perfect for our bride and grooms big days.

Plenty of Cakes this week

Starting with a 3 tier Bright pink, Black and silver 21st cake and a Multi Model cake with a farming feel.

We also did 2 Burnley shirts 1 front and one back!!

And also a couple of wedding cakes for good measure!!

This weeks Cakes

Just a few Cake this week, two Birthday and one Wedding Cake.

Starting with the wedding cake a five tier Chocolate Curls Cake decorated with Chocolate Rose’s and Lilies in Ivory and Shades of Pink, made for Ingrid and Alan who had their big day a the Great Hall at Mains Singleton.If you would like to see a lot more about this wedding check out our New Wedding Blog and there is also some lovely stuff from our friends at

The two Birthday Cakes were very different a simple hearts and feather cake and a Penguin!! for one of Matthews friends

Just a couple of cakes this week

Nice change of pace this week with just a couple of cakes. One engagement cake for Keiron and Laura at the Pendle Inn and a 40th birthday cake for Hayley’s partner (one of our past Brides)

Latest Cakes

Last update before Christmas and as I have been a bit busy it’s 2 weeks worth.

Starting With 4 Wedding Cakes, A Castle Cake at the Alma Inn, A chocolate ruffle at Stirk House Hotel, and 2 t tier cakes one with lilies at Rose hill House and square rose Cake at The Oaks

Also 4 Birthday Cakes including a 18 Cake and a Manchester Utd Shirt. A very last minute Motorbike Cake and a Upsy Daisy Cake that wasn’t easy to make!!

Our final cake was a Christening cake for our niece

Christening and Birthdays

Another  busy weekend with 2 christening cakes again, seemed to be the season. The first 2 tier in pink with small toy box on top and the second blue one a much simpler cake with just foot prints on top.

Also 3 birthday cakes staring with a much requested cake the good old Burnley shirt always a winner with boys of all ages, and then a big chocolate cake for one of our past brides.The final cake being the most fun for a a builder who liked diving (the pool is meant to be half built!)

Bit of a mixed Bag

Been very busy with Cakes for friends lately and have not taken as many Photos, but here are a few of our latest.

The first Cake was for the wedding of Wendy and Mick at Mytton fold Farm – 3 tiers in tilting Perplex stand with lights, topper with handmade rose’s.

Followed by 3 very different birthdays Cakes, Golf and Next Bags and a classic Handmade rose birthday Cake

And Lastly a vampire bat cake for my son’s friend's Halloween party

Yet another busy Week!!

Starting the week we our only wedding cake at the Spread Eagle in Sawley for Lynn and John a simple 2 tier cake with David Austin and Vendella Roses with a few lisyanthus

We also made a good variety of birthday cakes with Sponge Bob, a Handbag and two tier Zebra Effect Cakes

And Also two Christening Cakes one with Sugar Pram and the Second with fairies and Flowers

all in all a very busy week rounded off with a wedding fair at The Inn at Whitewell wedding fair on Sunday. We are now having a much needed week off!!

Looks like I have been Piping!!

With 3 wedding cake two birthday cake and trying to get ahead for wedding fair in September, along with what felt like a million polka dots it’s been yet another busy week.

Anyway on the the cakes, the first cake ( black and white one) was made for the daughter of our neighbour and Julie and her Groom Mark got married at Mitton Hall. The second cake was at Mitton fold (4 tier lilies) which was handy for delivery as I had just been Mitton Hall :) and it looks like Amy and Andrew were in for a good day and the venue look lovely.

our final wedding cake was in a marquee in ribchester (I got lost trying to find it!!) for Rosie and Paul and Passion florist of clitheroe decorated it for us ( see the action shot!)

and a couple of birthdays as well Toy story and Top gear!!

 

I have started work on our wedding fair cakes (12th Sept Spread Eagle)  and (10 Oct  Burnley Football Club) so here is a sneak preview!!
